Career & Study Mentee

**Seeking a mentor to guide me in switching into a career in technology.**

Hello, my name is George Nguyen. I am 34 years young, and have been working in the biotech industry for ~10 years. I am now seeking a career change and have since returned to school doing an online post-bacc program for a bachelors in CS. Currently, I am in second quarter (summer 2024) and this will be a 2-3 year program.

As of now, I do not know what I want to do when I finish the degree. I just know programming is valuable skill to have now and in the future. I am open to learning new things and trying out different work in the tech field to gain exposure.

Personality wise, I am communicative, positive, and open and am usually the one who gives people advice on psychology or health but I realized I myself would benefit from help as well, specifically in the realm of career change and advancement.

I am seeking a mentor who can guide me in my journey for career change. Thank you!
